Ron,
Please grant that this is an extremely complex doctrine that I must for sake of the limitations of this medium generalize and abstract. There a thousand implications that could easily explode into a huge debate and chase red herrings down rab...
Mike,
1. I do believe that the Heidlberg and the Belgic may have errors. I can think of at least one in the Belgic off the top of my head, but these errors by no means affect the system. I never appeal to them as in themselves being authoritative....
That's fine Ron. Mike please excuse this, I know it is hardly relevant to your post.
I may do a video sometime in the future. I am also writing a volume on a Biblical theology of accountability which will include some of this theme. That is where ...
Ron and Michael,
If you wish to call me tomorrow I am will to discuss those things. I am busy right now, so I don't have much time for a lot of interaction on here. I'll give you my cell number in your mail-boxes.

That is fair, I was trying to distinguish between your words and the original post on the topic. I think I can appear "worked up" at times when I'm in a hurry and am trying to get to the heart of the matter. Even if I was I think you of all people could handle it haha. Bless you, brother
That's good news. If you are ever in SC just let me know... you are always welcome at my house. There's not much to see here in Columbia, but I'm sure we'd have some interesting conversations!
Well there's one more version of it any how. The Doctrine of the Deity of Christ is many things to many people. I do not get involved with the little things many use to divide but suffice it to say "I am a Christian, I do follow Christ and I 100% believe in His Deity but equally recognize His humanity and its limitations" Some use the long version, others use the short. There is no one thing that makes any one individual a Christian. Being a Christian is the collective of your fruits in Christ, not a singular belief. Some are comfortable saying Jesus was God in the flesh. I'd rather say Christ was God, manifest in the flesh; it's merely semantics from this point.
BTW, Vince, when you do a series of videos you can included them inline so that they can be easily viewed, one right after the other. In other words, you can add one video entry and put the next two beneath the first. If you ever want to do this, you enter the video code like you ordinarily do, and then when it comes to adding comments, you can insert the code there, separated by a space or verbiage or whatever and then add the additional code. In your recent 3 video response re H&E this might have been helpful so that someone could proceed to the next rather seamlessly.
Thanks for your thoughts Vince (or if you prefer Vincent). Quite frankly I enjoy your videos a great deal. It may be weird on your end speaking into an inanimate object, but I find the visual aspect helpful. I prefer watching than merely listening because it's much easier to catch the nuances of facial expressions etc in video that the audio simply can't pick up.
Anyone I respect (and I respect you a great deal because of your thoughtful presentation and your very graceful attitude) has my attention and I will listen/watch all of what they produce. You are quite articulate and as you press on your presentation will continue to improve. I think the verse captions that you place on the screen are very helpful.
You asked what I'd been studying...Actually the past 6 months have been predominantly centered around caring for my mother who had terminal cancer. I guess in one sense we're all terminal, but hers was fairly predictable. She died this past October 16th on my B'Day. I don't think I'll ever recover because I loved her dearly, but the Lord will help me move along. The service was Friday and we had a number of non-believers attend. It may have been the most memorable experiences of my life. The Gospel was clearly presented and I pray God makes quick work of those who had yet to know Jesus.
At any rate, I hope to spend more time in study now that I have a little more time. Suffice it to say, I'd been subsisting from the work of others like yourself. Thanks for making my life richer.
Hey - keep posting those great videos so I dont have to =) BTW - would love to chat about getting you to present a couple of my time text arguments against the Partial view on Youtube like...
the time texts connected to city in Rev 22 = the city in Rev 21 = no more death (1 Cor 15) / fellowship with God (1 Thess 4,5) / old heavens and earth pass (Rev 20 GWT judgment)
