Hi Vince: Question for you: You state to Dr. Birks that "...I also suggest that there are days after that day, and ages after that age..." While I would agree that the Bible speaks of an age occurring after the end of the age (i.e., their age, th…

Thanks Ed, for sharing your thoughts on this very important topic. One of the excellent resources we have found (hat tip Mike Grace!) is the preterist author Vic Lockman. He has a real good book called "Biblical Economics in Comics", available at w…

Notes on Bible Interpretation

Hello All:

This is a work in progress. I am trying to come up with something fairly simple and non-technical that I can share with futurist friends/family. I welcome any and all feedback. I'd like to "keep it simple", yet have it reflect the nuances that accompany Biblical interpretation without it being redundant or cumbersome. I'd like to expand where needed, and cut back where not needed. Hopefully some of you may find this helpful.

Thanks in advance,

Bryan

"Hyper-traditionalism" by David Green

Kudos to David Green for coining this new term for partial preterism. He posted it on the "PretCosmos" Yahoo group, and I think it is a masterpiece!

I suggest that we no longer should we refer to them as "partial preterists". Instead, "hyper-traditionalist" should be the working term for these "partial futurists".

Let's fight fire with fire!

Here is Dave's entire post:

Excerpt from a preterist book entitled “The Church [It Is Not The “ekklesia” Of The Bible]”

Endowed with Divine authority, these men take charge of all of the assets of the institutional church, which includes properties, buildings, ba… Continue

That's so funny! I was going to tell this guy Bryan (who happens to be you) that I bet he had a license tag that said something like 57 Chevy Preterist. Of course I know you. You were the one with all the great ideas about the theme of our group, the Lamb of God Who takes away the sins of the world...

My wife plays tennis with Francis. By the way, did Craig ever read Brian's "Behind the Veil of Moses"?

I know you'll contribute a great deal here. Looking forward to it. Blessings, Chuck
