Only one small glitch so far on page 35 about Jesus' return in 70AD being the antitype for the high priest coming out of the holy of holies on the day of atonement. (Lev 23) The resurrection fulfilled that type - not 70AD.

Hi Chuck, :)
If any of those guys have read House Divided, I'll bet they're praying that nobody reads Mike's chapter. I can't even read that chapter without cringing in embarrassment for Mathison et al. The contradictions that Mike uncovered betw...
Hi David,
That's the first I've heard of that book. By the sound of it ("disgust," "very telling"), I'd say it will be a "tell all" exposé helmed or at least co-authored by Roderick Edwards, displaying the evil character and despicable deeds of "...
Hi Sam, :)
From a strictly superficial and surface standpoint, our belief can be made to appear like another gospel: "No one in 2,000 years of church history ever believed this! This is a radical departure from the history of the church! You're d...
Hi Curtis,
You asked: "Why do we/you/Authors confess the creeds as necessary? Necessary for what?"
My answer: Without a unified tradition of belief, we cannot say that there is "one faith." When I speak of the necessity of the ecumenical creeds,...
Hi Alan, :)
I agree that the creeds contain truths that are authoritative and that we must confess those truths and that we must submit to those truths because they are derived from Scripture.
However, if that is true, then we can't make a flat,...
Hi Sharon, :)
I agree that FPism demands that many areas of our theology must be "tweaked." In at least some cases though, the "tweaking" involves an amplification or clarification of the elements of Reformed theology. For example, the Reformatio...

Hi Jordan, :)
You wrote: .....how can we just look at a snapshot of our life at any one day and, by THIS standard, know we're "in"?
I'm not saying that we judge ourselves by "a snapshot of our life at any one day." I'm not saying that we look at...
Dave - finally - so good to have you here. Your "answers" section was one of the main reasons I went from Partial to Full (after questions in my mind would come up I would search your answers section etc). Thanks for EVERYTHING that you do brother.
BTW, just recently I've been back into studying logic. That book you so graciously sent me a couple years ago was my starting point and just recently I downloaded the lecture series given by Robbins onto my MP3 player. It;s been very helpful. Also, I found a workbook which goes along with both, so its been a fun study. Again, thanks a ton for sending me the book!
David, I live about 5 miles from Sam down here in the sub-freezing Brandon area. I have a great friend who I introduced to preterism that lives in Opelika.
If you have time to add some bio info that would be great. I'd like to know how you came to the Lord and then your voyage to preterism.
