It's been awhile since I wrote to you but sometimes we get so busy with life as I'm sure you already know. I wanted to let you know of a book that's out that defends the preterist view, it's called "A house divided". I met a brother in the Lord on a website and we are constantly in touch. How are you doing? hope everything it's just fine. How are your studies of preterism? Are you stil in contact with Sharon Q? i need to write to her and let her know about the book. My wife will be contacting you and share things that we have been learning. Oh! by the way, we met a couple who are preterist and got together with them a few weeks ago and had a great time meeting the family. They live in Hillsboro. Praise God that we know someone else who adheres to biblical eschatology!

My husband and I have been married almost 31 years (second for both of us). I had two sons from the previous administration, but the boys were 4 & 6 when my husband and I married and he adopted them. They are both married and we have two granddaughters and one grandson. Our oldest boy is in the car business and works for a Chrysler dealership that fortunately made it through the shut down. Our youngest was and is a mechanic but decided to get into construction, so three years ago they moved to Tenn. They moved back to Oregon last year and currently are living at the coast (Waldport) with his in-laws (big futurists) and both are looking to get moved out as soon as possible. Our youngest and his wife are full preterists. I heard the preterist view on a radio show about 6 years ago and at the time my son was working at the same shop where I was the bookkeeper. I went out and asked him, "what would you say if I told you that the second coming happened in 70 AD?" He told me that that is the first time any prophecy had made any sense to him. Of course we have had many questions and answer sessions and I started researching it. I then shared it with a friend and she said Oh my that makes so much sense. Of course I have not gotten that response from everyone.
My husband is a believer but bible studies are not his thing, as he says. So I searched out some preterist sights and contacted Ed Stevens and asked him if he knew of any local people that I could contact and he put me onto a couple. I contacted a married couple and one single guy that were local. We began meeting as did my friend I had shared with earlier. We have gone through some changes in meeting locations but currently we are meeting at my home every Thursday from 6 ish to 8-8:30. We are just finishing up Matthew 24-25 study by Curtis and we have done Galatians and Hebrews. We don't know where we will go from there.
So excited about the new baby. Our boys are done. Do let me know when the event takes place.
You are so welcome to come anytime. No need to worry how often you can come. Since we are down to 3 when one of us can't make it we just cancel.
If you ever want to come, even at the last minute just email me as I can send you the instructions.
Take care, must go do some grocery shopping and clean up a bit before tonight.

I'm so glad that I found another Oregonian who adheres to biblical Preterism.
I just got a message from Sharon Q whom I believe has already contacted you, that's great!
Where do you live in Sandy? the reason I ask it's because I have a brother in-law who lives in Marsh road.
My wife and I are so excited that we're finding people who are not "afraid" to be corrected and (or) challenged by the word of God.
Please let us know how else we could contact you (e-mail, phone # ) so maybe next time we are that way, we could meet you and your family. We have 6 children and we are blessed to have them.
