Don and William are the best speakers. So eloquent and intelligent. Their discussions make good sense. Maybe I am biased. lol.

Oh how sweet, baby girl. Will keep you all in my prayers. God bless and congratulations.

Sometimes it is a bit scary seeing how God works. I seriously thought she would never budge. She has one of those personalities where if she says something, it is the law AND it is set in cement (metaphorically of course). So you could have floored…

Oh my goodness! My heart is leaping for joy. Tears are falling down my face. This is wonderful. Thanks so much for making my night. How awesome Karen. Let's just keep praying that God will continue to soften her heart. Blessings, Chuck

Well, your prayers and mine must be working. Yesterday my daughter said, out of the Blue, she wanted to buy the boys a bible each! So at least we have opened dialogue there. I swear I never said a word, she never comes on here. Anyhow, we talked and…

Karen I think that is a wise decision...and I think it is great that you can discuss it with them. I wasn't sure if you were able to actually talk to the boys freely about what they would be reading so I am sorry if I came across that it is wrong t…

Wow, Chuck. Thanks. Oh, I so loved my old KJV. I raised my kids on it. lol. Maybe that is where I went wrong. Should not make light of it I guess. I liked the KJV because for years it was pretty much all there was. I still have a NKJV which is good,…

Karen, I think you hit it when you wrote, "I have been thinking that I would buy it and look at it myself. Then if I feel that it might be suitable, let them look at it, if they want to." There have been many that criticized the "modern translation…

Ah Apocalypse humour. I always sign my name on forums as "Purveyor of fine equines to the Apocalypse" as I have horses and my best one died.

Michael, I sincerely hope your radio programs are a blessing for people and an educational resource tool. I live a little too far away to be phoning you. lol. Wish I could hear some of them. Oh well. God Bless.

Wanda, thank you so much for sharing this and your advice. My two grand sons live with me and my daughter, so being there to explain things isn't a problem. I have been thinking that I would buy it and look at it myself. Then if I feel that it might…

Hey Karen! This is such an interesting subject to me as a few years ago while attending the YS Nat'l Youth Workers Convention we (the group of leaders and our youth pastor at the time) had a (VERY heated) discussion about these "resources" for kids/…

I read the Manga bible at Barnes & Nobles about a year ago and I have to admit that I liked what I saw. I was expecting it to be watered down but it was not at all. Admittedly, I did not read the entire thing, just a few books and a few chapters but…

Manga Bible

Okay, here is my problem. My daughter has told me she doesn't want me to talk about Christianity to my grandsons. I respect her wishes, although I do not allow blasphemy or other things like that from anyone in my house. I want to be a bit sneaky, however, and maybe buy a Manga Bible, as they love graphic comics and stuff like that. I would get a buzz out of a Manga bible, if I thought it was worthwhile. Without being too fundamentalist, has anyone got or read the Manga bible and would it be a g… Continue

Oh, you're welcome Karen. I'm just distraught over your kid's spiritual situation. I can't even imagine how that breaks your heart. Blessings, Chuck

Thanks, I will be putting in my tuppence worth every now and then. I am very opinionated but hope to be able to put it such that I can learn from others and they can learn from me. Wow that sounds a bit arrogant for a newbie, lol.

Yes, she is my girl. Her name is Bell and she is a Thoroughbred (x-racehorse). Thank you for your welcome. I have been away for a while because I forgot my password and just let it slide. Alas, Idon't read my gmail all that often either. But I am going to rectify that. I will hunt around the group and find out what is what and I will make contributions and probably get my head chewed off, but I will get there.

Karen, I'm glad you've joined us. We love Aussies. BTW, that's a beautiful horse. Is it yours?

I hope we can learn from you as well. As you will find, this site is about a whole lot more than preterism but preterism is a common link we share. Any specific website that sent you this way? Enjoy yourself and never be intimidated to ask a question or chime in. We're all learning together.

Chris wrote that "we're definitely not looking to brainwash you". Well he can speak for himself. The Kool Aid will arrive at your doorstep shortly. LOL Just joking. We're all about truth here. For most of us preterism just offers the best view of the Word. Blessings, Chuck

Hey Karen, welcome to the site. Feel free to ask any open and honest questions you want. We probably won't have all the answers and we're definitely not looking to brainwash you either:) But there's a lot of good Christian people here who really know there stuff. God bless
