In support of IBD I would like to show that the concept of souls receiving new bodies while discarding the old was not a foreign concept during the centuries surrounding the period of the gospels.

How do you as Full Preterist handle the following verse

John 5:28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
John 5:29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

in which "the graves" is mnemeion (a "the tomb" or 'sepulchre') as opposed to 'hades'. All uses in the NT that I looked at indicated a physical earthly tomb.

In the previous article, my tentative conclusion was that the Two Witnesses were not two individuals, but a group or body of people that, like John the Baptist, “in the spirit and power” (Luke 1:17) of Elijah and Moses.
