Paul teaches that God promised to save a remnant according to promise and not according to the flesh. It is the remnant that could say with Paul, "Nothing can separate us from the love of God." The message can be found at messiahreformed.com.
Saw this quote Jason posted over on the Reign of Christ - worth sharing.
To echo an early Reformation thought, when the plough man and the garage attendant know the Bible as well as the theologian does, and know it better than some contemporary theologians, then the desired awakening shall have already occurred. ~ Gordon H Clark
Last night Larry Siegle and myself were going to have a discussion called "Thanksliving." at 6 P.M. However...Larry's day trip into San Francisco ended in an impound yard. He quite literally found himself in a tow jam. 8) But at 6:45 we got to crack the mic and share a preview of the broadcast that we will now be doing on Friday night at 6 P.M. Pacific Standard Time.
Download our 20 minute preview conversation and then join us on Friday night for the real deal.…

Recently it was said that you can not be a Full Preterist and hold to the grammatical-historical approach to scripture by one of our critics. I am going to demonstrate quite easily that you can, and actually should be a Full Preterist, if you do.
Dr. Ken Gentry claims to use the historical-grammatical approach to scripture.

In BCS most of the advocates are teaching that the animals in Genesis are actually people. Please allow me to demonstate that the animals are not people in Genesis 1-9. All you have to do is interpret Genesis with Genesis and it becomes VERY clear. This view has problems on the most basic levels. Until these most basic issues are really ironed out, I certainly will not take it very seriously, though I do like many of the people who believe it.
Join us at 6 P.M. Pacific Standard Time, on Thursday, November 19th for our first episode of "17:11" with David Curtis of Berean Bible Church on Preterist Radio.
At this point the best way to listen is at our BlogTalkRadio page to listen to the program, participate in the chat room and even call in if you like.
A debate at Westminster Theological Seminary between Christopher Hitchens, renowned atheist, and Douglas Wilson, renowned Christian author. It was moderated by Dr. Scott Oliphint.

We are living in the year(s) 2014, or 2015, and maybe 2016. 2012 is gone and we all know why:
The bottom line is: King Herod the Great, according to history, died in 4 BC. Jesus began His public ministry in AD26. He was about 30 years old at that time. We need to add 4 to 6 years to our Calendar to match the actual year of Christ's… Continue

OK I will keep this very brief - just a quick example.
The Partial Preterist Experts hermeneutic would dictate that I hold the time-texts as AD 70 and this dictates to me that 2 Peter is fulfilled already according to that hermeneutic.
Ken Gentry - PARTIAL PRETERIST:
"Evangelical (and reformed) preterists (e.g., R. C. Sproul) take seriously the time texts of Scripture and apply those prophecies to A.D. 70, a… Continue
