EVERYONE is invited to be part of the Preterism Debate site. Since Sharon Nichols closed down her Preterist Debate site (Theology Debate) in order to launch something else later, I opened another Ning community for those who wish to discuss or debate eschatology.
There are no rules or Moderation at this time, but I trust that God is Sovereign and that Christians can discuss issues without insulting one another. If you would not say something if Jesus were standing next to you, then DON'T say it…

FOR those interested, I have posted the beginnings of an exegetical commentary of the book of Ephesians at Victory Words online. (www.victorywordsonline.com). [For whatever reason, I cannot seem to get the link from here to work properly]
The Internet does not afford one the opportunity to make sure a study exhaustive in scope, however, this study plans to be faithful to the proposition that Paul's discussion is in the context of the revealed "mystery of God" in connection with Jews and Gentile…

I HAVE POSTED the first Victory Words podcast...(still some technical issues), but I hope this will be the first of a very long run of teaching tools that will draw us into a study of the Word.
The focus of Victory Words is on the positive, practical and powerful principles related to New Covenant living. Preterists sometimes focus on the past, spend a great amount of time and energy on the events of the transition period, or establishing the foundational truth about the position. These program…

SOME of the most profound theological concepts come to us from the most unlikely sources and speak to us in powerful ways. Recently, while standing in line at the local
Starbucks, I glanced over at a handwritten sign near the front counter, that stopped me in my tracks, because of the simplicity and truthfulness of the message displayed:
“Say hello to a brand new day!”
Each one of us who have embraced fulfillment, and have experienced the joy of Accomplished Salvation (Preterism)…

On
KINGDOM VICTORY I just posted a thoughtful article about the need to acknowledge the fact that certain extremes DO exist within the preterist movement. Further, I presented the necessity of having a balanced approach to the Scriptures without the to take a theological "leap" backwards into the hopeless position of Futurism. Here is a brief quote from the article:
The ease with which many are prone to embrace whatever doctrinal notion is pre…

Everyone, below is a brief excerpt from my most recent KINGDOM VICTORY posting. I have been very busy the past month (moving) and continuing to recover from the "bum" knee problem. But life goes on...

"The rise of newfound “ministries” devoted to the refutation of Completed Redemption (Preterism) find themselves standing alone at the shores of the muddy waters of the Jordan river. Those once filled with the sense of joyful celebration in the…

MANY groups are looking for Jesus to return and rescue humanity from all of the problems and difficult situations we face in our daily lives. The picture is one of a restored paradise with Jesus on the throne for a Millennial Kingdom reign. Everything is once again wonderful. No more pain, no more suffering, no more death, and the list goes on.
But is this what is pictured in the Scriptures? Are we waiting for something that will never happen in a physical way? Suppose this restored paradise ha…

A couple of weeks ago, while implementing some important administrative policies at Kingdom Victory, I extended the invitation to Brian Simmons to write an article explaining his reasons for having abandoned preterism in favor of dispensational premillennialism. Although Brian Simmons has written many articles in opposition to preterism since the time of his departure, I encouraged him to share with the Kingdom Victory readers what it is that most convinced him that his current position is the c…

I did the best I could at allowing believers to comment on article posted at Kingdom Victory--included those who are opposed to the Full Preterist view. In the end, however, I was forced to make some administrative decisions that would "ban" certain people from posting their vile comments.
To those who quit reading my blogs because of this, I apologize. The issue has been resolved and now everyone is once again free to post their comments without complete moderation. I want to encourage discuss…

I have not posted anything to my
Kingdom Victory blog in a couple of weeks.
The article now posted explores the necessity of using proper principles of interpretation in order to arrive at a proper conclusion. I hope the content is both interesting and helpful.

I want to express my appreciation for all of you who have kept me in your thoughts and prayers. Yesterday I had a second surgery on my left knee and am at home recovering for a "short" time (preterist or premillennial definition of "short" has not yet been determined).
It is doubtful that I will be able to pursue my dream, however, of becoming the first full preterist "Chipindales" dancer (or in the case of my weight, "CHUNKindales" would be more appropriate as a possibility).
We will see what…

I am in the process of writing a more detailed response to critics of preterism, however, for those who would prefer a brief "preview" of coming attractions, here goes:
The following argument is only valid for those who believe in the absolute authority and inspiration of the Scriptures and who are willing to accept that the Bible us to be understood without either "addition" or "subtraction" (Deut. 4;2 et al). In order for believers to determine the basis upon which ANY doctrine or practice is…

Being off from work for a short time has given me the opportunity to spend some time watching the DNC and RNC on television for the past couple of weeks. I spent part of the time watching FOX news and the rest of the time watch MSNBC (what a difference one "click" of the remote makes as it pertains to coverage).
I posted an article on KINGDOM VICTORY related to the upcoming presidential election. I certainly appreciate what Sam Frost wrote in his blog "Losing My Political Identity" and my artic…

When the Scriptures teach that "every knee will bow" before the Lord I had no idea how difficult this task might be from the standpoint of someone who is getting ready to experience knee surgery. I am officially "off work" for the next 30-days to have surgery on my left knee that was injured in 2006 at work and the painful recovery that is "yet future."
At this point in time I do not know the "day or the hour" when the doctor "cometh" but I should findeth out sooneth. It is scheduled for either…

I just wrote a blog article about an interesting website I discovered on purpose that advertises the "end of the world" in 2012 and STUFF you can purchase, including a Survivor Shop. Maybe this will be a good reality-based TV show: "Survivor 2012" (We could put all of the premillennialists on an island somewhere and keep them there until January 2013)...I may try to contact FOX about this idea...

The latest edition of
Kingdom Victory includes a blog posting about the current political climate and the premillennial notion that perhaps Barak Obama is the Antichrist (of at least the "current version"). Ever noticed that premillennialism is like the Windows operating system? It constantly needs "updates" and it has so many holes in it, a "patch" is required every five minutes...

On my
Kingdom Victory blog, I wrote an honest evaluation of creeds, confessions, councils and the future steps Preterism must take in order to move forward in a united fashion. I am certain that many will not agree with my conclusions but I predict that there are also a large number who have been thinking along these lines for quite some time without ever expressing it.
We are where we are. The question is, "Where do we want to take this thing?" and "How do we achieve the success that we…

"But the Spirit saith expressly, that is later times some shall fall away from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons" (II Tim. 4:1).
Many of us may remember the tagline from the popular deodorant commercial that said,
"You never get a second chance to make a first impression"--a fact most of us would concede is beyond dispute. On Friday of last week two female applicants wandered into our management office looking for employment and were given applicat…
